چکیده
Abstract Foeniculum vulgare Mill. is a medicinal plant, used as flavouring agent. The essential oil from F. has potential antimicrobial and insecticidal effects, can be in food industry order to protect the resources products against microbial pest’s contamination. aim of research was characterize volatile components by Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) Chromatography (GC-FID) observe activity disk diffusion method vapour phase. Also, phase detected. We found that major were trans- anethole (73.6%), fenchone (6.0%), limonene (5.7%). Antimicrobial on gram-positive, gram-negative, yeasts weak liquid phase, but showed stronger B. subtilis at concentration 250 ?L.L ?1 (98.65% bacterial growth inhibition). Vapour effective insects, where 25% had 80% lethality.
